Can I use this foam tape to make a shaker card?
Yes. Cut a window in your card front, add a clear sheet behind it, then run foam tape all the way around the window with no gaps. Drop in your sequins, peel the liner, and press the back layer on. The 1/8" height gives sequins plenty of room to shake, and the purple foam keeps the edge from showing on purple cardstock.

Why buy colored foam tape instead of white?
Look at the side of any popped up layer and you can see the foam. White foam tape leaves a white line around a purple layer. Purple foam tape matches your purple cardstock, so the edge disappears and the layer looks like one thick piece.
