About Our Cardstock

What makes Celebration Warehouse cardstock different?

We specialize in premium, shed-free glitter cardstock and silky-smooth solid-core cardstock in over 100 colors and finishes. Our glitter is bonded so it doesn't flake off in your machine, on your project, or on your hands — and our smooth cardstock has color all the way through, so intricate Cricut and laser cuts don't show white edges.

What does "shed-free" or "zero-shed" glitter cardstock actually mean?

It means the glitter is permanently bonded to the cardstock surface — it won't flake off into your cutting machine, transfer onto your hands, or leave a mess on your work surface. You get all the sparkle of glitter cardstock without any of the cleanup.

What's the difference between smooth, glitter, and specialty cardstock?

Smooth cardstock is solid-color all the way through with a clean matte finish — best for stamping, intricate Cricut cuts, paper flowers, and card-making. Glitter cardstock is heavyweight, sparkly, and shed-free — best for cake toppers, signage, party decor, and statement pieces. Specialty cardstock includes mirror, pearl, and holographic best for accents, foiled looks, and high-impact details.

What weight (gsm) is your cardstock?

Our glitter cardstock is 250 gsm (about 92 lb cover) — heavy enough for sturdy cake toppers, shadow boxes, and signage. Our smooth cardstock typically runs 80–100 lb (216–270 gsm), perfect for greeting cards, layered designs, paper flowers, invitations, and Cricut intricate cuts. Specialty finishes vary; the exact weight is listed on each product page.

What size sheets do you sell?

Our standard sheet size is 12" x 12", which fits perfectly on Cricut and Silhouette mats. Variety packs and select specialty sheets are also 12 x 12 unless noted otherwise on the product page.

How many sheets come in a pack?

Most single-color packs include 10 sheets. Variety packs typically include 10–20 sheets in coordinated colors. Swatchbook samples are 1 sheet of every color. The exact sheet count is on every product page.

Is your cardstock acid-free and lignin-free?

Yes — our smooth cardstock is acid-free and lignin-free, so it won't yellow over time. That makes it safe for scrapbooking, photo albums, heirloom projects, and archival use.

How do I store cardstock to keep it from warping?

Store cardstock flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Original packaging works well, or use a flat paper-storage drawer. Avoid storing it standing up against a wall for long periods — it can curl over time.

Cricut, Silhouette & Cutting Machines

Is your cardstock compatible with Cricut machines?

Yes. Every cardstock we sell is designed to cut cleanly on Cricut Maker, Maker 3, Explore Air 2, Explore 3, and Joy. For glitter cardstock we recommend the "Glitter Cardstock" or "Heavy Cardstock" setting in Design Space, a LightGrip mat, and a fresh fine-point blade. For our smooth cardstock, the standard "Cardstock" or "Medium Cardstock" setting works well.

Which Cricut blade and mat should I use with your cardstock?

For smooth cardstock, use a fine-point blade and a StandardGrip (green) mat. For glitter and specialty cardstock, use a fine-point blade and a LightGrip (blue) mat — the lower tack prevents tearing when you weed. Always make sure your blade is fresh; a dull blade is the #1 cause of cardstock cuts that drag or tear.

Can I use your cardstock with a laser cutter (Glowforge, xTool, Omtech)?

Most of our smooth and glitter cardstock cuts beautifully on Glowforge, xTool, Omtech, and similar diode/CO2 laser cutters. Avoid mirror and holographic finishes with high-power lasers — the reflective surface can bounce the beam. If you're cutting at scale, we recommend ordering a swatchbook sample first to test settings on your specific machine.

Projects & Use Cases

Can I use your cardstock for wedding invitations?

Absolutely. Our smooth cardstock is a popular choice for printed and laser-cut wedding invitations, place cards, escort cards, table numbers, and signage. Specialty mirror and pearl finishes are gorgeous for foiled-look accents. We recommend ordering a swatchbook to color-match your palette before placing your full order.

What kind of cardstock works best for cake toppers?

Our 250 gsm shed-free glitter cardstock is the go-to for cake toppers — it's heavy enough to hold its shape on a skewer, won't flake glitter onto your cake, and photographs beautifully under party lights. Mirror and holographic specialty cardstock are also popular for high-shine toppers.

What cardstock works best for paper flowers?

For paper flowers you want cardstock that's flexible enough to shape but sturdy enough to hold a curl. Our smooth cardstock in the 80 lb / 216 gsm range is ideal. Avoid heavyweight 100 lb+ cardstock for delicate petals — it cracks at tight curves.

What is a variety pack and who is it for?

Variety packs are hand-curated bundles of coordinated colors — seasonal sets, color-themed sets, and rainbow assortments. They're perfect for crafters who want options without buying full packs of every color, small business owners testing color directions, and anyone planning a multi-color project like a banner or paper flower wall.

Where can I find project inspiration using your cardstock?

Color & Samples

Do you offer color samples or a swatchbook?

Yes — our swatchbook samples include a single sheet of every color in a collection so you can see and feel the cardstock in real life before committing to full packs. They're the easiest way to color-match for weddings, parties, and brand projects.

Will the colors I see on my screen match what arrives?

We work hard to photograph our cardstock accurately, but every screen renders color slightly differently. For wedding, branding, or color-critical projects, we strongly recommend ordering a swatchbook first so you can see the true color, finish, and texture in person.

Ordering, Shipping & Returns

How long does shipping take?

Most orders ship within 1–2 business days from our warehouse in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. U.S. delivery typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your location and chosen shipping method. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship to the United States, Canada, and all international destinations. Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your address. Customs fees and import duties are the buyer's responsibility for orders shipped outside the U.S.

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free U.S. shipping on orders over [$50]. Promotions, discount codes, and free shipping thresholds are listed at the top of the site and in our newsletter.

Do you accept rush orders?

We can accommodate rush orders depending on warehouse capacity. Choose an expedited shipping method at checkout, then email us with your order number so we can prioritize fulfillment.

What's your return policy?

We accept returns of unused, unopened cardstock within 3 days of delivery. Because cardstock is a craft material, opened or partially used packs aren't eligible for return. If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, contact us within 3 days and we'll make it right.

What if my cardstock arrives damaged or bent?

We package every order with care, but if your cardstock arrives damaged, email us at help@celebrationwarehouse.com within 3 days with a photo of the damage and your order number. We'll send a replacement or refund the affected items.
