For glitter cardstock we recommend the "Glitter Cardstock" or "Heavy Cardstock" setting in Design Space, a LightGrip mat, and a fresh fine-point blade. For our smooth cardstock, the standard "Cardstock" or "Medium Cardstock" setting works well.

For smooth cardstock, use a fine-point blade and a StandardGrip (green) mat. For glitter and specialty cardstock, use a fine-point blade and a LightGrip (blue) mat — the lower tack prevents tearing when you weed. Always make sure your blade is fresh; a dull blade is the #1 cause of cardstock cuts that drag or tear.

Most of our smooth and glitter cardstock cuts beautifully on Glowforge, xTool, Omtech, and similar diode/CO2 laser cutters.
